the roads – super heavy dubstep/electro house/progressive,harmonic,melodic electronic music production!

the roads is pretty much me, marius schramm, but i got a little help. the foundation of my musical career was age six when i start to get classical piano lessons. my biggest musical influence was always jamaican reggae and dancehall music. at the age of 17 i founded my first reggae soundsystem, started playing and promoting dances as well as cutting and mixing dubplates. after finishing my audio engeneering education in 2006 i started to produce and record music in this genre as well as doing various live engineering and studio jobs. after returning from a trip to jamaica in 2010 my musical interest increased especially for the “daughters” of reggae music coming from london, such as grime and dubstep. in 2012 i finally start to produce my own style of dubstep. one of my main issues, if it comes to produce electronic music, is to make it sound organic, as well as trading the missing vocal elements for kind of talking or singing synth sounds. but i also like to feature myself as a singer or friend vocalists on my tracks. i do not use any kind of loops or samples, i try to design my own sound from the bottom up. since november 2012 i´m bookable for live performances with ableton, modified apc 40, some peripheral gear and live singing. where the roads are leading, nobody knows.
